The campaign was well received and shared, and covered by several news outlets, such as Parool and Linda. Traffic to Artis, both the zoo and website, increased in 2015.

You won’t find more colour anywhere this summer.

More than 900 species live in Artis, and there grow 1200 different varieties of flowers, plants and trees. From hundreds of these animals, flowers and plants species we selected the dominant colour and converted this into a unique 'Pantone' colour. Thus creating the largest and most varied outdoor campaign Artis has ever run in and around Amsterdam. Nearly every animal and plant, familiar and less well-known, was to be seen somewhere.

No two posters were the same. Bringing colour to Amsterdam on behalf of all the fauna and flora of Artis. Furthermore, the colours were featured in a commercial, layered with analog synthesizer tones, creating a striking audiovisual experience in cinema’s and on TV sets.

The ideal time to visit Artis is on the brink between spring and summer. The oldest zoo in the Netherlands is then in full bloom. Not only are the animals at their best; but the flowers and plants, too, are at their most colourful. The brief was during these months, when the most important commercial results need to be achieved, to attract as many people as possible to Artis. With a campaign that will show both Dutch people and tourists the zoo in a special and striking light. In other words, with communications worthy of Artis.
