ADCN’S CREATIVE CIRCUS PRESENTS: EXPERIENCE DESIGN FEATURING TRAPPED IN SUBURBIA & GRAPHIC MATTERS

In today’s world, design alone isn’t enough. Available technology can turn anyone into a designer. Design has been democratized. What a designer really needs is the ability to tell stories. To share ideas and experiences in a way that connects. The strength of an original idea is more necessary than ever. Design that aims deeper, sparks inner excitement, plays with universal feelings and opens your eyes to the world around you. Design that makes you smile. The smile is the expression of contentment and satisfaction, of intelligence and ingenuity. We believe in design that frees your inner child, asking you to remove all insecurities to be fully immersed. Play!

Speakers
Karin Langeveld is an experience designer, graphic designer, lecturer and teacher. She is the Director and Founding Partner of Trapped in Suburbia and Flags of Peace Foundation.

“Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember, involve me and I’ll understand.” Trapped in Suburbia designs focus on human interaction and engaging audiences. They are experts in book, exhibition and identity design with a unique approach to interaction. Their designs encourage involvement, either to start them or complete them. With involvement comes better understanding, something heartfelt and something special but most importantly something memorable. It is this that transforms graphic design into an experience.

Dennis Elbers is a cultural entrepreneur, the founder & curator of Graphic Matters, the Blind Walls Gallery and 3sec Gallery.

Graphic Matters, a festival with exhibitions, talks, shows, workshops in Breda, shows how designers shape and influence your perspective on current issues that matter.
